The new 64-bit HDX Real Time MediaEngine for Mac will not work with the older, 32-bit versions of Citrix Receiver for Mac. One of our mac users installed S4B last month (which is great), however since installing, our Exchange server w3vsvc1 log file location has started blowing out to almost 2GB of log files.

Historically, Citrix Receiver for Mac and RTME for Mac have been 32-bit apps. Which customers should evaluate this preview?Īll customers that have deployed HDX RealTime Media Engine for Mac should use this RTME preview to assess compatibility with the new Citrix Workspace app for Mac. This new version of Skype will be business-focused and is centered around creating an experience tailored to enterprise users. Users can seamlessly participate in audio-video or audio-only calls to and from other HDX RealTime Media Engine users, native Skype® for Business and Lync® client users, and other standards-based desktop video and conference room systems. HDX RealTime Media Engine is a plug-in to the Citrix Worskspace app that supports clear, crisp high-definition audio-video calls, particularly with Microsoft Skype® for Business.
